After graduating from Cambridge University with a Masters in Natural Sciences, I trained to be a teacher completing a PGCE and a Masters in Education, where I focused on assessment and motivation.

Since then, I have been worked in secondary schools since 2010 in a range of roles, including as a classroom teacher, head of department and senior leadership. Alongside this, I have worked as a senior examiner for 11 years.
